Landa air winches are ideal for utility use in construction, offshore and marine applications. They are suitable for operating in areas with potentially explosive, high temperature, humid atmospheres such as, the drill floor, pipe deck and BOP platform on a rig. No sparks are generated.
Landa air winches are available with optional features such as remote control pendants, drum guards, airline accessories and construction cages. Designed to work in difficult environments, these winches feature a low maintenance, highly reliable gear motor with high torque output that translates into smooth starts and stops.
Landa air winches are fully function tested prior to leaving our factory, with installation and commissioning options, if required.
Working Principle
Air winches are powered by compressed air instead of electricity. Air pressure is fed from an air compressor to the motor drive of the air winch using an air line. Once it is activated, the drive air winch’s motor will begin to power the cable drum and effectively lifting or lowering the attached load.
